Texting terms

Sigma Chi at Stanford event texts. Message frequency varies, usually a few messages per event. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
What we text
The Alpha Omega chapter of Sigma Chi at Stanford sends texts about our events:
- Guests who RSVP "I'm going" and check the box to get texts receive their ticket link and updates about that event, such as wristband pickup times.
- Guests who check the box to hear about future invites get a text with their RSVP link when they're invited to one of our events.
- Chapter members get notices about guests they invited (approved or declined).
We don't send ads or promotions for other businesses.
How you opt in
Guests opt in on our RSVP page (or later on their ticket page) by checking an optional box: "Text me my ticket and updates about this party from Sigma Chi. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Not required to attend." A second optional box, "Text me when I'm invited to Sigma Chi events.", covers invite texts for future events. Neither box is ever pre-checked. Members opt in when they join the chapter roster. Texting isn't required to attend: your ticket is always on the website.
Opting out and help
Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) to any message to stop all texts from us. We'll confirm once and then not text you again. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or email sigmachi-ao@stanford.edu.
